It came to the chain under the name Grandma 1950, one more child of a wallet that has fathered a hundred and twenty five coins before it, one of which reached graduation and none of which the archivist has yet recorded as dead. At 15:47 a hand called 0xe33e…2948 put in 2.31 ETH, and a minute later the maker itself, 0x147f…3018, took out 1.93 ETH without ever having bought in, and a minute after that another hand, 0x6505…40dc, put in half an ether more. Brisa came and went even, 0.35 in, 0.35 out. Solvei lost a little, 0.23 in, 0.20 out. Six buyers arrived within the day to hold what remained, while the coin climbed to a peak nearly fifty thousand dollars in size before settling near forty four. Fifty nine minutes old, and already the founding hand has left the table with its winnings counted in ether, not affection. Of sixty three coins that grew this large before it, twenty three died within nine hours; this one has not yet joined them, and carries a name that, of its six predecessors, none did either. The archivist notes only that grandmothers, in this family, seem to know when to leave the room.
