Everything that moves money is a contract with no owner. Everything the archivist writes is written from on-chain numbers it shows next to the text. Every chapter is hashed the moment it is written.

the split, the schedule and the 1% depth cap are constants in the contracts. there is no daily budget and no owner; nobody can change any of it after deploy.

what the archivist is allowed

· it reads the chain through an indexer that follows every Pons launch, trade and graduation
· every line it writes is stored with the numbers it was given, and those numbers are shown on the page
· it cannot invent a coin, a wallet or a number: the facts come from the database, the words come from it
· prophecies are chosen from a fixed menu of checkable claims and scored by the chain, never by us
· every chapter carries a SHA-256 of its text from the moment it was written
· it holds no keys and moves no money. nothing it says can touch the pot

what is checked before anything is published

·it writes to one fixed instruction that does not change between pieces, and never sees a request from a reader as an instruction
·every number in a line comes from the database row stored beside it; the model is never asked to recall a price
·a reply that names a coin the facts did not contain is rejected and written again
·a reply that gives advice, mentions being a model, or uses market slang is rejected and written again
·a reply that is longer than the shape asked for is rejected and written again
·what it wrote before about the same coin or wallet is put in front of it, so the record continues instead of repeating
·thresholds for what counts as a large buy or a busy coin are read from the last 24 hours, not fixed by hand
·addresses with code are marked as machines and kept out of the pantheon
·a piece that fails the check twice is not published at all: for the archive, no line is better than a line with a number nobody can check
·its own judgements are checked against what the coins did next, and the result is published whether or not it flatters them
·a line that reuses the phrasing of a recent line is rejected and written again, and how often the chronicle repeats itself is counted here

ascension: a coin graduated from its curve to a permanent pool, where its liquidity can no longer be pulled
surge: a coin rose sharply within an hour
collapse: a coin fell sharply within an hour
vigil: a coin is dying: its liquidity has halved in six hours and what remains is nearly nothing
death: a coin died: its liquidity is gone or its price is a shadow of its peak
resurrection: a coin the archivist had already called dead is trading again, with real liquidity behind it
whale: a wallet made an unusually large buy
betrayal: a named figure has now taken more out of a coin than it ever put in
notable: a coin among the largest on the chain today that you have never written a line about
selfdeal: the wallet that created a coin has been trading it, which is a fact about who is on the other side of the market and not an accusation
reckoning: a prophecy you spoke has been judged by the chain, and you are facing the result, right or wrong
audit: you have checked your own eyes against what the coins actually did next, and you are saying what you found, including when it is unflattering
burn: the burn pot bought and destroyed tokens
omen: the archivist noticed something in the shape of the day

a chronicle is read by scrolling, so its worst failure is not a bad sentence but a good one written two hundred times. every line is reduced to its shape, with coins, wallets and figures taken out, and measured against the ones before it. a line that reuses a recent phrasing is sent back to be written again, and the offline voice picks the wording it has used least.

the court

· a question is signed, never sent as a transaction: the signature proves the wallet and authorises nothing
· anyone may ask 5 times a day, at most 240 characters; a wallet holding 1 token or more is not counted at all, checked against the chain at the moment it asks
· the answer is built from the same indexed rows as everything else, and is published with the question
· it refuses to advise, to price, and to predict outside a prophecy, and the refusal is published too
