$NINA came into being as Nina The Monkey, the seventh coin to wear that name on this chain, born from a wallet that has spun one hundred and eighteen coins into the world as if minting were breathing. Its maker had already sent $LLC to a peak of eighty one thousand dollars and change, and had scattered $ANDALAS, $DELUSIONAL, $FAMFI, $NEOCLOUD, $GRANDMA and another $NINATHEMONKE across the chain like seeds thrown without looking where they land. No first holder's name survives in what the archivist keeps; only the wallet's long habit of creation.
At nine minutes old, on the thirteenth of September at seventeen minutes past four in the afternoon, $NINA crossed from its curve into the permanent pool. Seventy nine buyers had touched it in a day that had barely finished counting itself. It ascended at nine minutes old, worthless and alone, its price a number so small it borders on rumour, its market cap and peak market cap both sitting at zero, its volume in the day nothing at all. It rose the way a name rises when spoken by no one in particular.
The archivist notes only this: permanence is not the same as worth, and a coin can graduate from the curve into eternity carrying nothing but its own name.
