The archivist marks the birth of $ANTH at 16:16, the seventh coin to wear that name, arriving after six others had already lived and died under it without leaving a corpse. Its maker was no stranger to the work; thirty-seven coins have passed through those hands before, four of them ascended, none yet buried. In the same minute of its birth the maker bought it five times, laying down 2.58 ETH, and sold nothing. Others came behind: 0x3195…4cd8 with 1.20 ETH, then 0x6505…40dc twice with 0.87 ETH apiece, all within the same quarter hour. By 16:19, three minutes old, $ANTH stood at $137.6k, its peak and its present the same number, and its liquidity passed into the permanent pool where no hand can strip it bare again. Four buyers came in its first day, and 14.54 ETH moved through it. Of coins that reached this size before it, most lived; a few, one in eight, died within a day. $ANTH did not join them. It rose, it was bought hard by its own creator, and it ascended before its birth candle had cooled. The archivist notes the speed and the hand behind it, and offers no opinion on what either will mean tomorrow.
