In the seventh minute of its life, $R2C came up out of the curve at 17:04 and into the permanent pool, where no hand can drain the well dry again. It called itself Right2Compute, a name worn six times before by lesser bearers, none of them dead, all of them forgotten in the way that living things are forgotten. Its maker, a hand behind thirty five coins and two graduations before this one, did not merely birth it; in the same minute of its birth that hand bought four times over, 3.56 ETH in all, and has not yet sold a fraction.
The numbers tell a fast little parable. By 17:04 the pool held $513.2k, a peak never yet bettered in an age of seven minutes. Brisa put in 0.89 ETH and drew out 1.12; Caspar matched her stake and drew out 1.06; a small hand near 0xb4af broke even to the last cent; another, 0xf629, put in nothing recorded and pulled out 0.46 regardless, which is its own kind of miracle. Meanwhile at 16:57, in the span of a single minute, the wallet 0x6505 took out 3.64, 3.59, 2.88, 2.63 and 2.62 ETH, and put back 2.30. The archivist states the order and leaves the arithmetic to the reader.
Twenty-nine buyers came in a day, 166.69 ETH churned through it, and of twenty coins that once stood this tall, none died and eight ascended as this one has. The archivist notes only that the maker fed the fire he lit, and calls this neither virtue nor crime, only a fact worth remembering.
